As our company continues to expand its global footprint and solidify our position as a leader in innovative logistics solutions, we need the professional services of a Supply Chain Engineer to fortify our operations. The Supply Chain Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies through the development and maintenance of effective systems for managing our logistics flow and processes. The Supply Chain Engineer will analyze our operational data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our comprehensive online logistics warehousing system platform. The Supply Chain Engineer will contribute to the continuous evolution of our logistics capabilities, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry by consistently delivering top-tier solutions to our expanding clientele.

The hired individual will be responsible for the following duties:

·         Apply industrial engineering methodologies to systematically analyze and optimize the industrial and mechanical system aspects of Soho Logistic Inc.’s supply chain operations, ensuring maximum efficiency.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement within logistics processes, implementing strategies that enhance overall system performance and minimize operational costs.

·         Evaluate and integrate industrial and mechanical systems that contribute to the efficiency and reliability of supply chain operations, with a focus on warehouse automation, material handling, and transportation technologies.

·         Develop and utilize modeling techniques to simulate and analyze various supply chain scenarios, providing insights into potential improvements, risk mitigation, and overall system resilience.

·         Leverage data analytics to assess the performance of supply chain systems, utilizing statistical analysis to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

·         Identify opportunities for automation within the supply chain, designing and implementing automated solutions to improve accuracy, reduce lead times, and increase the overall responsiveness of logistics processes.

·         Implement quality engineering principles within the supply chain, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality.

·         Foster effective communication with stakeholders across the supply chain, including suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions and alignment with overall business goals.

·         Evaluate potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions, ensuring the resilience of the overall system and minimizing the impact of unforeseen events.

·         Maintain comprehensive documentation of supply chain engineering projects and procedures, generate detailed reports on analysis, recommendations, and implementation outcomes, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making within Soho Logistic Inc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field such as mechanical engineering.
• 6 months of work experience researching and analyzing a company’s operational and system data to maximize a company’s efficiency and productivity.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Microsoft Office.
